Study abroad – without being away for a full semester
Would you like to study abroad but feel that a whole semester away is a bit too long? Then a BIP course within EU GREEN might be just right for you. Here you combine online learning with a week on site in another European country, gaining both academic credits and international experience.

Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) are short international courses within Erasmus+ that combine digital learning with physical mobility. You study together with students and teachers from several universities within the EU GREEN alliance and gain valuable international experience that you can take with you into the future.
A flexible way to gain international experience
BIP consists of:
- A virtual component (online)
- A short physical mobility period, usually one week in another country
This makes BIP a great option if you want to try studying abroad but cannot or do not want to be away for a longer period. It is also a good opportunity if you want to strengthen your CV, work in international teams and build networks across borders.
The courses are interdisciplinary and connected to current societal challenges, often focusing on sustainability, innovation and European cooperation.
Studies, networks and new perspectives
During a BIP, you often work on projects in international groups. You may experience new teaching methods, explore new academic environments and gain insight into how students and researchers in other countries work.
It is an opportunity to:
- develop your subject knowledge
- build international connections
- experience a new city and culture
Many students describe BIP as an intensive, inspiring and rewarding experience – both academically and personally.
