New look for several library databases
In August 2025, the databases Business Source, CINAHL, ERIC, PsycInfo and others will have a new look and some features will change.

On 5 August, 2025, databases hosted on the Ebscohost platform will receive a new interface, which means that the appearance of the databases and some features will change. The content of the databases will remain the same as before. The new interface has a cleaner look and is accessible fot people with disabilities. If you have used the library's Discovery search portal, you will recognize it as the two interfaces are similar.
Databases affected by the change are Business Source Premier, CINAHL, ERIC, GreenFILE, PsycInfo, Ebsco's e-books and some less used databases.
More information and guides to the new interface can be found on Ebsco Connect.
Do you have saved searches or alerts in an Ebscohost database?
Searches and items such as articles and e-books, which you have saved in My Folder, will be available in the new interface. If you have saved searches and items in a custom folder, My Custom, you will need to move these to My Folder before 5 August if you want to access them in the new interface. Until the end of the year, you can also download the content of your custom folders to an Excel file.
Search Alerts and Journal Alerts that you have in the old interface will not be available in the new interface. You need to create them again in the new interface.
On Ebsco Connect you can find more information on how to access your old folders in the new interface.

We recommend that you also save important searches in a different way, for example by taking screen shots, so that you can recreate them if necessary.
