About the researcher

Sara Mörtsell completed her PhD in Education from Umeå University in 2024 with a dissertation titled “Maintaining Teaching - Exploring Te(a)ch-abilities with Actor-Network Theory.” At the University of Gävle, she leads the research program Digitalisation, Technologies, Media, and Learning (DTML) within the strategic research area of Innovative Learning. She is a member of the research group Governance and Technology in Education (GATE) and, influenced by Science and Technology Studies (STS), she is interested in exploring new approaches in the intersecting fields of technology, knowledge, and education.
