GRAITE Graduate School: AI in Teacher Education
GRAITE (GRaduate school for AI and Teacher Education) is a national graduate school addressing one of the greatest challenges of our time: the intersection of artificial intelligence and the future of education.

In a society increasingly characterized by AI, both teacher educators and future teachers need to be able to understand, use and critically engage with new technologies. GRAITE creates knowledge about how AI affects the role of teachers and equips the next generation of educators for a future where AI is an integral part of education.
Through a collaboration between nine Swedish universities, we are building bridges between technology, pedagogy and practice to meet the needs of a digitized world.
Main objectives of the project
- Strengthen expertise: Contribute new knowledge on the application of AI technologies in teacher education.
- Promote collaboration: Increase national and international collaboration on research training in the field.
- High-quality education: Develop and offer research courses and seminars focusing on the intersection of AI and pedagogy.
