Magnus Hjelmblom is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science but works in the Decision, Risk and Policy Analysis (DRP) group. His research interests mainly revolve around norm-regulation of agent systems, an area that lies in the borderland between BRP and computer science. In his thesis Norm-Regulation of Agent Systems: Instrumentalizing an algebraic approach to agent system norms, he has developed a general programming framework for handling normative systems. Another of Magnus Hjelmblom's areas of interest is computerised decision support systems.
Magnus teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, such as programming methodology, software engineering, algorithms and data structures, artificial intelligence and computer science logic.
