Professor Magnus Isaksson holds a Master's degree in electronics with specialisation in microwave technology from the University of Gävle (2000), a licentiate degree in signal processing from Uppsala University (2006), and a PhD in telecommunications from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, 2007. In 2012, Dr. Isaksson was appointed Associate Professor of Telecommunications at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.
He worked in electronics and telecommunications at Televerket, Teli AB and Teli Service AB, Sweden, 1989–1999. He is a researcher and professor in electronics, especially signal processing. Professor Isaksson is currently Head of Faculty of Health and Occupational Studies and Deputy Vice-Chancellor for EUI – Green Universities, at the University of Gävle. Since 2020 he is also Honorary Professor at Amity University, New Delhi, India.
His main interests are signal processing algorithms for radio frequency measurements and modeling of nonlinear microwave systems.
Professor Isaksson is the author or co-author of many published scientific journal articles and conference papers in the field, and has also published a book with a scientific publisher.
