Daniella Fjellström received her PhD in International Business from the Centre for International Business Studies (CIBUL) at Leeds University Business School (LUBS), University of Leeds, UK. She has received several prestigious awards for her research.

• Fjellström’s doctoral thesis received the Neil Hood and Stephen Young Prize for the Most Original Doctoral Dissertation from the Academy of International Business.
• She received the EMIC Distinguished Young Scholar Award at the 2nd Emerging Market Inspiration Conference at Stockholm University.
• Osarenkhoe and Fjellström received the Best Paper Award for “A study of exogenous gap critical for cluster dynamics and interaction with global markets” at the 12th Annual Conference of the EuroMed Academy of Business, hosted by the International Hellenic University.
• Fjellström and Guttormsen received a Highly Commended Award for their conference paper “A critical exploration of ‘access’ in qualitative international business field research” from Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management: An International Journal, published by Emerald Publishing Limited.
