Eleonor Kristoffersson has served as guest professor, professor, and visiting researcher at the University of Gävle since 2013. She earned her doctoral degree in commercial law at Jönköping International Business School in 2001. In 2003, she was appointed Associate Professor (Docent) at Uppsala University, where she also became a full professor in 2009. She was appointed professor at Örebro University in 2010.

 

Her academic career is rooted in tax law, with a particular focus on value-added tax (VAT) and various procedural issues. She is an internationally recognized scholar in the field and has participated in several interdisciplinary and cross-border research projects. Her research is characterized by a strong societal commitment and a desire to contribute to legally sound and efficient tax systems.
