Group Rooms, Study Places and Computer Rooms

At the University of Gävle we want to create a good study environment for you as a student by offering different types of environments for different needs. There are a number of group rooms, study areas and computer rooms on campus.

Small Group Rooms

There are small group rooms in the stairwells of buildings 11, 31 and 51 which you can use when they are free, but you cannot book them. Teachers can book the group rooms in building 51, but if they are not booked you can still use them.

Group room 51:228 has eight seats. You can access the group room from 07.00-22.00 with your HiG card. This room can also be booked by teachers for teaching purposes.

Group rooms 51:321, 51:322 and 99:501d can be booked by teachers, but you as a student can use them if they are free. You can check the timetable and see if the room is available by scanning the QR code on the room sign outside.
