Information from the course co-ordinator

In this course, students will receive supervision and guidance to complete a thesis. Writing a thesis involves working in groups of two students and conducting an in-depth, independent study. This course carries a weight of 15 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) points and is scheduled from week 4 (January 20) to week 23 (June 8), 2025.

In addition to the program requirements, students taking this course are required to have passing grades in FEA150 Advanced Academic Writing in Business Studies (7.5 ECTS) and FEA180 International Business Management (7.5 ECTS) (A1N), or equivalent courses.

This course uses a seven-grade, criterion-referenced scale: A, B, C, D, E, Fx to F, where passing grades range from A to E, with an E grade necessary to pass. Further details will be provided during the introduction lecture. If an Fx grade is assigned, the examiner will provide detailed written comments and instructions highlighting areas needing improvement, along with a specified deadline for resubmitting the revised thesis. Upon completion, the highest achievable grade for the student(s) will be an E, unless an alternate agreement has been negotiated between the examiner and student.
