Book a librarian

If you are a student at the University of Gävle and require help with information searching for a larger project, you can book an appointment with a librarian for guidance. We will contact you within a few days of receiving your request to book a time to meet.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, let us know on 026-64 85 48 or via email to: biblioteket@hig.se

How to prepare for the guidance session

• In the booking form, include the search terms (keywords) you have used, as well as the databases you have searched.
  
• Bring your search history with you and be prepared for us to see how you have conducted your searches. The more prepared you are, the better!
• When we meet, we will look at your previous searches and discuss ways to improve them. We don't give you ready-made solutions, rather the aim is for you to develop and improve your search techniques.
• After our meeting, you can continue to work with the tips and tools we have given you.
