You can search the Library’s databases, journals and e-books when off campus. You do this by logging in with your user account, or via the University’s remote desktop.
Discovery is the Library’s search portal where you search for different types of material across several databases simultaneously.
Our databases contain articles, reports, legal texts and more. Here you can find our databases in alphabetical order.
The Library has both print and electronic journals. The two most recent issues of print journals are available on the ground floor of the Library.
Our library catalogue contains printed books and course books. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can suggest an acquisition.
Here you will find information on how to access the many e-books available at the Library. You access e-books with your user account. A library card is not necessary.
Here you can find links to theses and research publications from the University of Gävle and other universities.
We have created subject guides for various subjects and programmes. They contain tips on databases, books, web resources and how to search for specific topics.
Through the Library, you have access to both print and electronic dictionaries and encyclopedias.
