  • Professional experience corresponding to at least 12 months of full-time service

Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing- Intensive Care

Add specialist skills to your nursing qualification

As a specialist nurse within intensive care you are responsible for the care of patients who are acutely ill. To be able to work independently within intensive care the qualification required is the Specialist Nursing Programme.

You will be able to find work both nationally and internationally

The course leads to a Specialist Nursing qualification with the emphasis on Intensive Care. After completing the course you will work be able to work within intensive and post-operative care, at pain management clinics and as a paramedic. You will also increase your chances of working internationally in, for example, disaster areas.
