Register on your course

To keep your study place, you must register for your course no later than the Sunday before the start of the course.

You register in Ladok for students, and the registration period opens two weeks before the course begins and closes the Sunday before the start of the course. By registering, you show that you are an active student in the course.

Your Timetable

The course schedule is published no later than four weeks before the course starts. You can find your schedule using the Kronox schedule app. You can search by entering the course name, course code, or registration code.

Oral and Written Proficiency

In the Oral and Written Proficiency in Teaching module you are given specialised knowledge in oral and written language skills in different genres with a focus on how the comprehensive communicative ability can be developed on the basis of current research. The module will be taught by Susanne Greés, Jessika Nilsson, Fredrik Svensson and Henrik Kaatari.

On Canvas, you will find specific information, such as detailed course descriptions, class schedule, teaching materials, course requirements, discussion forums, and assignments. A great part of your work will be carried out via Canvas, too. It is therefore essential that you register, which will enroll you in the course on Canvas before the semester starts. Course registration opens two weeks before course start, in week 34. See the link to register at the start of this welcome letter. Once the module has started, you should check the course site on Canvas on a daily basis. Important information will be posted by your instructors on the first page of the course site (as “Announcements”).

All the meetings for this course are online, in “digital classrooms” via the web conferencing system Zoom. Access to the digital classrooms will be provided through links posted in the course site on Canvas. Please note that you need to have a headset, a microphone and a webcam so as to be able to fully participate in our Zoom sessions. First class meetings

Your first meeting will be in week 37 on Friday, September 13, from 13–15, online via Zoom. Zoom links can be found on Canvas in the individual module folders.

Bear in mind that 50% courses expect students to put in about 20 hours a week on the course and 25% courses expect a 10 hour weekly time commitment. Please contact the course coordinator with questions on the course itself. You will find answers to your questions on the individual modules on the Canvas course site.

Cheating and plagiarizing are serious academic offences, which result in failing the module in question and being reported to the college’s disciplinary commission.
