As a student at the University of Gävle, you can always turn to us for practical support. Whether you need help with registration, IT issues, learning platforms, or practical services such as printing and room bookings, our support functions are here for you. Through our service portal, you can quickly find guides, ask questions, and report problems. You are also welcome to visit the Infocentre in the Library for personal assistance. We are here to make your time as a student as smooth as possible.
Technical support services
The University has a number of support functions that you as a student can turn to if needed.
Do you have questions about your studies, for example about registration, grade reporting, or welcome information for your programme.
If you have IT-related questions, please use our Service portal to report any issues. The portal also contains manuals and knowledge articles where you can find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.
Infocenter is situated in the library in Building 23. Here, you can get help with finding your classroom,collecting your HiG card, and adding credit to your printing account.
Learning Center is a central support function for distance education and flexible learning at the University of Gävle. We support students and teachers in developing teaching methods concerning flexible learning.
The Porter's Office is in room 32:204. There you can get help with borrowing extra tables and some equipment. They can also assist with refurnishing for student events and conferences.
At the Copy Centre we can help Student Associations with printing, copying and binding. We can also scan images and texts. Please order via our web form.
