Have you ever had a business idea but weren’t sure how to turn it into reality? Now’s your chance! Welcome to the EU GREEN Entrepreneurial Journey, a series of activities designed to inspire and develop students’ entrepreneurial skills.

The Entrepreneur's Journey is a series of activities, lectures and workshops aimed at students who want to develop their creativity, solve problems, gain new experiences and perhaps test an idea they already have or an idea they come up with along the way. You can join a single activity or follow all the steps, which we certainly hope! In 2025, you are very welcome to join these activities:

Entrepreneur's Journey activities 2025

Inspiration Day
This is a lunch lecture where you get to listen to inspiring people who have taken the step and realized their ideas and started their own business. In addition, you will meet a wonderful team who can coach you and your idea further. And we offer a lunch sandwich of course, ideas need nourishment to grow!

Who will attend? Anyone who is curious about developing an idea or starting a business
When is the event? March 5, 2025 at 12.00–13.30

Innovation Days
Innovation Days is about how people are better at solving a problem if we work together and look at the challenge from different perspectives. By mixing different skills and experiences, completely new ideas can emerge. This is a two-day activity where you will work together with other students using different creative tools to solve predefined challenges. A number of coaches are also available to help you.

Who is involved? You don't need any previous knowledge and no matter what you study, you are welcome, everyone's experience and skills are needed. All that is required is that you are curious, like to work in teams and are prepared to see new solutions.

When? April 3–4, 2025

Online workshops
For those who want to deepen their knowledge about developing an idea and perhaps starting a business, you can attend a number of short digital workshops to learn more about how to protect your idea, how to think about target audiences and how to present your idea in a selling way. These workshops are in English and end with a self-test, and at the end of the whole course you will produce a business plan (in English) based on your own idea.

When: Free start between August and October 15, 2025

Entrepreneurship festival
If you take the plunge and write a business plan around your idea, you have the chance to be one of the lucky ones to go to Évora in Portugal for an Entrepreneurship festival! There, together with students from other European countries, you will continue to develop your idea through coaching, lectures and pitch training. In addition, there is the opportunity to exchange experiences and make new contacts with students from the other universities.

Those who are allowed to go are selected through a selection process.

Get credits for your Entrepreneur's Journey
Several parts of the Entrepreneur's Journey can also be attended by taking a so-called Blended Intensive Program, BIP. A BIP is a course that consists of two parts, a virtual part where you participate online together with students from other universities and a part where you attend classes and workshops at the coordinating university, in this case in Évora in Portugal.
