My research has the working title “Circular Logistics – The Engine That Closes the Loops.” The research focuses on how logistics systems can be configured to support a circular economy in manufacturing industries. More specifically, I will examine, among other things, the impact of value-preservation strategies on the design of logistics systems, barriers and enablers, as well as trade-offs between different circular strategies from a logistics perspective. The studies will be both qualitative and quantitative in nature.
