In her doctoral project, Nazda will examine the characteristics of safe teams in the metal industry and the impact of safety on factors such as accidents, work-related injuries, and sick leave. Part of the project involves examining how front-line managers perceive their ability to create safe teams. This includes the support they receive, the obstacles they face, and the opportunities they see.
