Urban Transitions

Urban Transiton is a multidisciplinary challenge-driven research programme within the strategic research area Sustainable Urban Development at the University of Gävle.

The mission of the research programme is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable attractive society through radical changes in technological, ecological and socio-technical systems. The aim of Urban Transition is to solve society's energy and environmental challenges by promoting resilient, resource-efficient and circular systems that improve the human living environment.
