How to log in to Ladok using your user account
Log in to Ladok:
- Go to student.ladok.se External link, opens in new window.

- Via your user account at the University of Gävle
- Via Edu ID
- Via your account on universityadmissions.se
Connect an alternative login method
When you finish your studies, you will lose access to your Swedish university account – and therefore also your login to Ladok. However, you may need to access Ladok afterwards, for example to retrieve your degree certificate or transcripts.
By connecting an alternative login method while you are still a student, you ensure that you can always log in to Ladok, even after your university account has been closed. There are two methods to choose from:
- European Digital Identity (eIDAS): If you have an eID issued in an EU country other than Sweden, you can use that as an alternative login method.
- Freja for non-Swedish citizens: If you have an international passport with NFC, you can create a Swedish eID via Freja and use that as an alternative login method.
Do you no longer have an active user account but do have a Swedish personal identity number?
If you no longer have an active user account at the University of Gävle, you can log in as an alumnus using e-identification. On the login page, you can choose to log in to Ladok for alumni to log in using e-identification (BankID or Freja eID). If you have an eduID, you can also use that to log in.
Once you have logged in, you can:
• Change your contact details
• Download your transcript and national transcript
• Apply for a degree
• View information about your awarded degree
• Share your degree
