Application Form for an opinion from the Research Ethics Council
The Research Ethics Council at the University is responsible for conducting ethical reviews of planned undergraduate and postgraduate degree projects involving human participants. On this page, you will find a form to submit an application for an opinion from the council.
Tips for comleting in the form
The application requires several pre-prepared documents to be attached. It is recommended that you read through the form and the accompanying instructions beforehand and ensure that all required documents, along with descriptions of the ethical considerations, are ready on your computer before you begin filling out the form.
After submitting your application – check that you have received a confirmation email!
The confirmation email will contain your application in PDF format. If you have not received a confirmation email, your application has not been submitted. If you need to resubmit, carefully ensure that all mandatory fields are completed. Also, check your spam or junk mail folder if the email does not appear in your inbox.
Processing Time and Response
The Research Ethics Council will review your application at its next scheduled meeting, provided that it has been submitted at least seven days before the meeting date. The council’s opinion, along with the form "Processing of personal data in students’ degree projects", will then be sent to the email address provided in the application, as well as to your supervisor.
