HiG Card

At the University of Gävle, you use the HiG card to access entrances and computer labs during evenings and weekends. If you link the card to the printing system, you can also use it to print and make copies.

Retrieve your HiG Card

In order to retrieve your card you must be registered on your first course and have a valid form of identification.

The HiG card serves as an access card to the University’s facilities and can be linked for printing and copying on the University’s multifunction machines. The card is free for all students and is useful if you will be spending time on campus.

Important information in case of a lost access card

If you are a student and have lost your HiG card, you are responsible for arranging a replacement yourself. In the event of a lost card, you must contact the Infocenter during regular opening hours to get help ordering a new card.

Please note that no assistance with building access is available during evenings or weekends, and that neither security company nor the property owner can grant access to students who do not have their card. The fee for a replacement card is SEK 50.
