A bit nervous, lots of new information and people you don't know. That's how it usually is to come to a new environment. It will probably be the same for you as a new student at the University of Gävle, but hopefully not for long.
The University of Gävle would like to welcome you as a new student. You are warmly welcome to our introduction day on 30 August.
To get you started in a good way, we offer information sessions, lectures and other activities during the first semester.
At the programme introduction you will receive general practical information about studying at the University of Gävle and specific information about your programme. The programme introduction is held by the programme director for your programme.
Welcome to Gävle
Gävle municipality welcomes you as a new student to Gävle! The film shows some of Gävle's industries, sports, culture, experiences and nightlife. And what Gävle is perhaps best known for - the Gävlebocken.
See our beautiful campus
We have one of Sweden's most beautiful campuses, right next to Regementsparken, Gavleån and Boulognerskogen. In the film you will see our library, canteens, exam hall and café Prego.
