Applying for later part of a programme
Find out how to apply for a later part of a programme. Admission is only at the end of a semester and only if there are vacancies available on the programme you want to study.
Switch to or resume studies on a programme
If you have already started a programme at another university and want to switch to the same programme at the University of Gävle, or if you want to continue your previous studies, you can apply for a later part of the programme. You can also apply if you have taken independent courses corresponding to the first semester of the programme and wish to be admitted to the following semesters of the programme.
Application deadlines
The application period for the later part is the same as for the other programmes:
15 March - 15 April for the start of the autumn semester
15 September - 15 October for the start of the spring semester
Eligibility and selection criteria
To apply, you must meet the requirements for the programme and have taken and passed courses corresponding to the first semester of the programme (30 credits) at the University of Gävle.
If there are more applicants than places available, those with the highest number of credits will be admitted until the deadline for applications.
How to apply
You must first be logged in to Universityadmissions.se in order to register for later part of programme via the link below.

Please note that late application is not possible for later parts of the programme.
Documents you need to submit

Application and tuition fees
If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland, you must pay both the enrolment fee and the tuition fee. Nordic citizens do not have to pay fees.

If your qualifications do not allow you to follow the regular programme structure, an individual study plan can be designed for you to achieve your degree.
