Entry Requirements

To be able to study at a higher education institution or university you are required to have certain prior knowledge. These qualifications form the basis that you need in order to be able to complete your studies.

First Cycle

To start a first degree programme, such as a Bachelor's programme, you must have general entry requirements. Sometimes you also need specific entry requirements.

You get basic eligibility through a final grade from upper secondary school or equivalent. Specific entry requirements may mean that you must have studied and passed certain subjects in upper secondary school.

Second Cycle

To start second-cycle studies you are required to have a Higher Education Diploma from first cycle of at least 180 credits. For single subject courses, no Higher Education Diploma is required, but you need to have completed your first-cycle studies.
