Om forskaren

Luiz Brusaca är fysioterapeut med en doktorsexamen i fysioterapi. Hans forskning fokuserar på att förstå hur fysiska beteenden på arbetsplatsen påverkar hälsa och arbetsrelaterade resultat. Under sin doktorandtid studerade han kontorsanställda med fetma och kombinerade tekniska mätningar av fysiska beteenden med interventionsforskning. Han är särskilt intresserad av samspelet mellan fysiska och psykosociala faktorer på arbetsplatsen och hur dessa bidrar till muskuloskeletala besvär och sjukfrånvaro. Dessutom är han intresserad av klinimetri, vetenskapen om att utveckla och validera instrument för att mäta hälsorelaterade konstruktioner, och av att tillämpa dessa metoder för att utveckla, förfina eller utvärdera befintliga verktyg för att förbättra deras kvalitet.
