Maryam Bourbour disputerade 2020 med avhandlingen digital technologies in preschool education; The interplay between interactive whiteboards and teacher’s teaching practices. Forsknings­intresset riktar sig mot förskollärares användning av digitala verktyg i under­visning. Med fokus på förskollärare och deras undervisning syftar Maryams forskning till att utforska på vilket sätt en digital teknologi, den interaktiva white­boarden (IWB), samspelar med förskol­lärarnas undervisning.
