Om forskaren
Jag är docent i byggnadsteknik och ämnesföreträdare för byggnadsteknik vid Högskolan i Gävle. Jag har lång erfarenhet inom bygg- och anläggningsteknik samt konstruktionsteknik, både från akademiska positioner vid olika universitet och från praktiska (industriella) roller hos konsult- och entreprenadföretag inom byggbranschen.
Vid Högskolan i Gävle undervisar jag för närvarande i olika specialiserade kurser, handleder och examinerar studenters examensarbeten och bedriver betydande vetenskaplig forskning. Min forskning spänner över ett brett och djupt spektrum av ämnen inom bygg- och anläggningsteknik samt konstruktionsteknik, inklusive undersökning av beteende och prestandaförbättring av olika typer av konstruktioner, byggnadsmaterial (såsom betong, trä och stål), kompositer, vägar, byggtekniker och markmekanik.
