Registrera dig på kursen
För att behålla din studieplats måste du registrera dig på din kurs senast söndagen innan kursstarten.
Du registrerar dig i Ladok för studenter och registreringsperioden öppnar två veckor före kursstart och stänger söndagen före kursstart. När du registrerar dig visar du att du är en aktiv student på kursen.

I kursplanen kan du läsa mer om kursens innehåll, mål och hur den examineras. I litteraturlistan kan du se vilken kurslitteratur som ingår i din kurs.
Du söker fram din kursplan och litteratur på länken här nedan. Om en kursplan- eller litteraturlista finns i flera versioner så ska du utgå från den nyaste upplagan.
Ditt schema
Kursens schema publiceras senast fyra veckor innan kursstart. Du kan själv söka fram ditt schema via schema-appen Kronox. Du kan söka genom att ange kursens namn, kurskod eller anmälningskod.
Information från kursansvarig
The preliminary course schedule will be available in Kronox approximately four weeks before the course starts. There will be eight seminars during the module, and we will meet every other week. The specific weeks for the seminars will be posted in Kronox. All seminars meet online on Fridays from 13:00 to 15:00.
The form of examination for this module is seminars, written assignments, and oral presentations. This means that attendance at seminars is mandatory. All seminars require active participation and will not be recorded.
To participate fully in the course, it is important that you prepare for seminars by reading the assigned sections of the literature in advance. You will be expected to engage with specific ideas and models from the course literature, not only with general topics. For this reason, you should order your course books well in advance, preferably during the summer break.
You will need the following course literature:
Hinkel, E. (Ed.). (2016). Teaching English Grammar to Speakers of Other Languages. London: Routledge. 274 pages.
Siegel, J. (latest edition). Teaching English in Secondary School: A Handbook of Essentials. Lund: Studentlitteratur. 360 pages.
In addition, you will need the following materials from Skolverket, in their latest versions:
• Allmänna råd om betyg och betygssättning
• Kommentarmaterial
• Läroplaner och kursplaner i ämnet engelska
A selection of research articles will also be included. These will amount to no more than 200 pages.
Be sure to register for the course in Ladok as soon as registration opens. This will grant you access to the Canvas course page two weeks before the course starts. Canvas will be our main communication platform, where you will find the timetable, instructions, assignments, and course materials. Instructors will also post general announcements here, while individual messages may be sent via email. Please check both Canvas and the email address you used in Ladok regularly.
Cheating and plagiarism are serious academic offenses that may lead to a report to the university’s disciplinary board. Before submitting any assignments, you are required to complete a knowledge test on academic integrity in Canvas.
